Effective reduction of neointimal hyperplasie due to Paclitaxel anti-proliferative drug and an effective drug release within 8 to 10 weeks. The Paclitaxel is incorporated in a full short term degradable biological PLGA matrix with a low dose drug content and a no inflammatory reaction.PLGA (Poly lactide-co glycolide) decompensades to carbon dioxide and water.
Our base layer Camouflage® a full biological, athrombogenic coating provides long term protection and promotes re-endothelization of the stent.Camouflage® is a mimicry of the natural arterial glycocalix.
This results in a short term chlopidogrel treatment.
