History since 1997

The registration of the company for ISO 9001/EN 46001 was the starting point for a rapid growth.

After changing its name into “eucatech AG” at the beginning of 2002 the company then successfully placed its first stent system on the market in June 2002.

In 2003 this step was enhanced by introducing the patented Camouflage® technology, the first biological coating worldwide.

Furthermore eucatech AG increased its capacity to meet rising demand on the market with new premises in Rheinfelden, the registration for ISO 13485 as well as the introduction of the Cobalt Chromium Stent CCFlex and the radiological self expandable Stent Resistant.

In June 2007 the product range was expanded with the eucaTAX, DES. This stent is made of a unique Dual Layer concept which means a first biodegradable layer loaded with paclitaxel eluting drug and a supplementary coating, the proven Camouflage® Coating.

Today eucatech produces on a world-wide scale.
